Homework charts without the right-hand edge
Why we print charts that stop mid-swing, and how to review them before the next confluence evening.
A finished chart teaches hindsight. Our homework sheets stop on a Thursday close, or after a quiet Friday, so the next bar is unknown. Students mark confluence as it stood at that moment, then bring the sheet unopened at the right edge.
In the following session we reveal the next few bars only after every student has spoken. The point is not to score winners. The point is to notice which confirmations were already on the page and which were wished into existence.
If you miss a week, complete the sheet anyway and leave the later bars covered. The instructors would rather see an honest incomplete page than a page decorated after looking at a live platform.
